Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the Swindon Open Studios Event. At Primrose HQ, we had over 120 visitors and it was lovely to have the opportunity to meet so many fantastic people interested in gardens, arts and crafts.
I hope you enjoyed the opportunity to try out some glass cutting and contribute to our community rainbow mosaic, pictured above. I think you'll agree, it looks amazing, so well done everyone. We raffled the finished piece for our chosen charity, the Alzheimers' Society and, along with your contributions for the refreshments (Thank you to the wonderful cake bakers, you are all stars), we raised a wonderful
£217.63  - The lucky winner of the mosaic panel was Shamus Pitts and the watercolour by artist Jan John is going to Laura Roughan. If you'd like to see us picking the winning tickets, there is a video on the Primrose Mosaics facebook...

Lead times on my made to order items is currently 3 weeks, to allow time to discuss colour options and order any materials needed, as well as handcrafting the item itself. Personalised commissions can take longer, as the bespoke process involves lots of design discussion with a client to ensure its made just how you want it.

Now, I totally understand life is busy and we don't always get organised enough to order things  in advance.
So, the good news is, I have now added a 'Ready To Post' section to the website shop, where I have smaller items ready made, which can be packaged and sent to you straight away. Perfect for those last minute gifts.

Click here to visit the 'Ready To Post' Page.

If you live within driving distance, I also offer a collection option from my Swindon studio- just contact me to arrange a time. This is a great option as I always have other pieces available to buy which are not on the website.

It's  a busy time here at Primrose HQ as preparations for Swindon Open Studios step up a gear. There's tidying the garden as well as creating new artwork; and this year there will be more than ever to see, including my cottage garden series of panels, which have been my most challenging and detailed work of 2018. The garden will be full of colourful glass mosaic work and the studio and summerhouse will also have a variety of handcrafted jewellery and slate work to view and/ or purchase. You can also find out more about the workshops I run and see where they take place.

But it's not all just about seeing MY work this year...... I am also giving you the opportunity to join in and try some glass cutting and contribute to a large community mosaic panel which we shall be making together. Kids can also join in, choosing and adding nuggets in their favourite colours. The finished mosaic will be raffled and proceeds will go to TW...

I am extremely excited to be chosen to be part of this prestigious exhibition.

Creating a body of work to display in the beautiful gardens at Urchfont Manor, including my Cottage Garden Series of glass mosaic panels, has been the most wonderful challenge.

I do hope you enjoy the slideshow of my work and, if you are local to Devizes, do visit and see them in person.

For more details about the event and information about the other artists visit the Friends of the Garden website here.
