These stunning glass mosaic dragonflies make a wonderful focal point, standing tall above the plants when placed amongst a flower border and look great as a pair.

Mounted onto tall metal poles (150-200cm) giving them imposing height. The h pieces added to the base of the poles mean they stand firmly when pushed into the ground. The poles will rust naturally to give a rustic feel.

I hand craft all of my glass mosaics using frost proof materials, making each one a unique piece of art that can bring colour and interst to the garden all year round.

Light will reflect from the mirrored and iridescent glass pieces at the front and through the translucent glass from the back, giving you stunning colours throughout the day and across the seasons, as the light changes.
I hand cut a mixture of flat and patterned high quality sheet glass, as well as using glass nuggets and glass tiles, to give the piece a variety of interesting textures and maximise the light reflection.

Price is for one dragonfly and dos not include delivery cost.

This pair of dragonflies will be part of the Pensthorpe sculpture trail, Norfolk, this summer. • The glass has been hand cut, the edges smoothed and then silicone glued onto a Perspex base. Once dried, I then grout using exterior grade grout, which really make the colours pop! All the materials I use are frost proof and weather resistant, so your piece is ready to display outside in your garden and can stay out all year round. Just be mindful, that in high winds, it is best placed somewhere sheltered.

As with any item made from glass, please be careful when handling. There may be sharp edges to some of the glass, so please keep out of reach of small children. You can clean the glass, if needed, using water and a little washing up liquid, with a sponge or soft cloth.
