Primrose Mosaics: Taster Glass Mosaic Worskshop

If you are new to mosaics and glass cutting…no worries! This beginners' course is a great way to start your mosaic journey.
I will be teaching you step by step, all the cutting, placing, sticking and grouting techniques you need to create 2 magnificent sparkly glass masterpieces. 
 
We will start by learning to use the nippers to safely cut small glass pieces. You will then be given 2 teardrop shaped perspex bases (20 x 8.5cm) and some tips and techniques for designing, laying out and gluing. Then it's time to choose your colours from a large selection of mirrored and iridescent sheet glass and get started on your projects. 
During the session, I will be giving a demonstration on how to grout and clean up your mosaics and how to attach your D ring fixings- you will be given a grouting pack to take home with you, which contains full instructions and everything you need to complete your project, once your glue has dried. 
All the materials you use will be weather resistant, so your finished SparkleDrops can be placed outside to brighten your garden all year round.
