Primrose Mosaics Workshop Update

Thank you for your patience in these unprecedented times.

Due to the announcement of Lockdown 3, workshops here cannot currently take place and unfortunately all workshops for Jan/ Feb will be postponed. I will be in touch with students currently booked onto those workshops to outline their options.

In the meantime, if you are looking for mosaic projects to complete at home, I do have a range of 'craft it yourself' mosaic kits available from the website shop. I also have 'ready to post' items, if you are looking for gifts or treats for yourself. Thank you for supporting small businesses during these challenging times.

The following safety measures are being implemented:

  • New improved larger workshop space, so that social distancing rules can be observed. You will be given your own work area and set of sanitised tools and encouraged to stay there as much as possible.

  • Enhanced cleaning of the workshop and toilet facilities prior to and after the workshop.

  • On arrival at the workshop, all participants will be asked to use hand sanitiser and confirm they have no COVID-19 symptoms.  Please do not attend if you have any of the symptoms- I would rather reschedule your workshop.

  • Masks or visors will need to be worn by all participants when indoors.

  • Please bring your own hand sanitiser, mask and apron. (I do have spares if you forget!) Visors will be available to purchase at the cost of £2, payable on the day. Wipes and disposable gloves will also be provided.

  • Any unused materials touched, but not used, will be quarantined for 72hours.

  • I will continue to serve tea and coffee for participants. Shop bought individual cakes will also be served. If you wish to bring your own refreshments instead, please do so

  • In the event of any confirmed student cases of COVID-19, the NHS track and trace system will be followed.

Hopefully, these measures will reassure you that Government guidance is being implemented, as the safety of us all is extremely important to me. If you would like to read about the measures in more detail, then a full copy is available here.

Thank you; keep yourselves and your families safe.
